Russian missiles and drone attack on Kiev kill at least 14 people World news
Ukrainian officials said a Russian drone attack on the capital of Ukraine during the night killed at least 14 people, including a six -year -old boy.
Ukraine’s emergency service said that at least 145 people were injured, including 14 children, the youngest of whom is a five -month -old girl.
This was the largest number of children who were injured in one attack on Kiev since the beginning of Russia’s conquest three years ago, according to Associated Press.
A large part of a nine -storey residential building collapsed after being hit, according to the authorities. Rescue teams continue to search for people trapped under the rubble.
Yana Chapurova, 35, who lives in the damaged building, woke up due to the loud explosions that shattered the doors and windows of her home.
