The Great French Hashim fire is unlikely to be under control until Sunday

The fire, which started on August 5, is one of the largest fire in France since 1949. More than 16,000 hectares (about 40,000 acres) rose, and led to one death, wounding 19 firefighters and six civilians, and several houses were destroyed.
