The expansion of Refuge Lethbridge And the resource center has been delayed again.
The completion is now scheduled for late March, due to supply chain problems.
Initially ending in February, the project was faced with several setbacks.
Despite this, the refuge remains operational to its original capacity, and the staff found ways to accommodate up to 150 people during the extreme winter.

Once finished, expansion will increase the capacity to 200 beds – a necessary upgrade, because the population homeless of Lethbridge unfortunately continues to grow.
Beyond the refuge, other community support services are also developing.
The popular Soup of Lethbridge is preparing to enlarge its dining room this spring to serve more people, and the living streets renovate a newly acquired space next to the shelter to house recovery and donation programs.
Refuge managers say that these additions will provide essential resources for people who have undergone shelter and dependence.
