The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, arrived in Saudi Arabia before his team maintained with the best American diplomat.
Mr. Zelenskyy Will not be in the meeting with American Secretary of State Marco Rubio, but Mr. Zelenskyy’s team will try to improve relations after his disastrous visit of February 28 in Washington, who descending into an oval office argument with the president Donald Trump and vice-president Jd vance.

Mr. Rubio is also on the way to Jeddah. He must not meet Mr. Zelenskyy, but the Secretary of State will meet Prince Mohammed.
The Ukrainian team will try to convince the United States to restore military aid and the information that helped kyiv since RussiaLarge -scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Addressing journalists on board his plane, Rubio said that if Ukraine and the United States came to an acceptable understanding for Trump, this could speed up his administration with peace talks.
“What we want to know is that they are interested in a sort of peace conversation and general contours of the types of things they might consider, recognizing that it was an expensive and bloody war for Ukrainians,” Rubio said.
“They have suffered a lot and their people suffered a lot. And it is difficult following something like that to speak even of concessions, but it is the only way to end and prevent more suffering.”
He added: “I’m not going to define conditions on what they have to do.
Meanwhile, Sir Keir Starmer spoke to Trump on Monday before the United States-Ukraine meeting.

Reading the Downing Street call said that Sir Keir told the president that “British officials had spoken to Ukraine officials during the weekend and that they were attached to lasting peace”.
“The Prime Minister said that he hoped there would be a positive result at the talks that would restart aid and the sharing of information,” the statement said.
“The two leaders also talked about the economic agreement they had discussed at the White House and the Prime Minister praised the detailed conversations that had already taken place to advance this. The two leaders agreed to stay in touch.”
Meanwhile, the European Union agreed last week to stimulate continent’s defenses and release hundreds of billions of euros for security in response to the change in the Trump administration to Ukraine.
An American intelligence official said that a break on the sharing of American intelligence that can be used for offensive purposes by Ukrainian forces remain in force.
The official suggested that progress could be made to restore information sharing with Ukraine during Saudi talks.
